Kapil R. Desai, M.D.

Dr. Kapil Desai is a musculoskeletal radiologist specializing in sports imaging including CT and MRI of the joints and spine.  Dr. Desai also performs CT and ultrasound guided therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. 

Dr. Desai completed his undergraduate studies at Columbia University, majoring in music. He graduated from Rutgers Medical School and completed his medical internship, radiology residency and at New York University Medical Center, and received fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging at NYU Medical Center Hospital for Joint Diseases.

Dr. Desai has served as President of Greenwich Radiological Group since 2022.

During his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, coaching youth ice hockey and hiking with his German Shepherd.
